The garden bench woodworking Plan.

This DIY will result in a beautiful 48" garden bench that's strong enough to stand the test of time. Although it can be built of regular lumber, cedar is the wood of choice for this project. Because of the natural resins in cedar, it is naturally resistant to insects and rot, making it the perfect choice for this bench. By not staining it and placing it your perfect spot in the garden, you will get years of maintenance free service from this beautiful piece of furniture. 

Tools Needed; Table saw, Mitre saw, bandsaw, cordless drill, screwdriver bit, 3/8" drill bit ( at least 3 1/2" inches long), brad nailer, exterior grade wood glue.
